What is the VTC 360 set and how to set it up

Hey, I’m Tom, the owner of VTC. And I’m super excited to get you trained on how to use the VTC set. So let’s start straight away. What is the VTC set and how to set it up. The VTC set comes in parts. The first one is your tripod. What you must do. You must fully extend both bits of the legs, just like so. Okay, to give the proper height. And then this middle bit, you never turn it up, ever. You leave it as it is. And this will warranty the proper height for your 360 virtual tours. Now the rotator. The rotator comes in two parts. One, is this little spinning device. You got those legs that you need to open up. And that’s how you’re gonna turn it on by switching the on button. Okay, it also has a little swivel that goes on top of it which is very important for you. So you’re gonna screw it on top of that, just like so. You do only it ones and it’s gonna stay there forever. It’s got a little swivel on top and we will use that to adjust the angle of the camera. But we’ll get to that later. So it’s likely like that. Now, to put the rotator on the tripod, you must open up these little legs and you just simply screw it on top of the tripod, just like so. Pretty tight and you can close those legs and make sure you’re gonna have the power button on. On and off. Now, the other part of the set is the lens that you get with your in the box. And you can unscrew the lens from this little clip because we’re gonna put the lens on your phone. So the phone will go into this clamp. and then you are gonna have to take your phone cover off to install the lens correctly on any of the phones. Okay? To see if it’s correctly put on the camera when you took off the lens, you’re gonna see through this little hole. So you will be able to put it on top of the camera and then lead it on top of the phone. And in that way, it’ll never move while you take into 360 folds. Yes, it fits on all of the cameras on all different iPhones. On iPhone 12, it goes on the top camera. On iPhones 13, it usually goes on the bottom camera, okay? Now, once you put the clip on, you will have to screw the lens into the little clip. There you go and this will be ready to shoot. Please remember that it also comes with a little cloth. And when you take off the little cover that covers the lens you need to give it a wipe. Also always wipe your phone lenses to make sure the panoramas are the best quality. Okay? And if you have your phone set up like that you’re gonna be ready to shoot, Another option for everyone that I highly recommend is to get yourself a phone cover. They come in all different shapes and sizes. The foam covers can fit iPhones ten, eleven, twelve, and 13. And then instead of having to push to fiddle with the clip, you just put the proper cover for your iPhone size on top of your iPhone. And then if it drops, it’s not gonna to break. So your phone is safe. And then without having to play with the lens too much you just unscrew it from the clip and screw it in the place where it belongs on your phone. And that will make your work much easier. You can get them from our online shop while you buying the VTC set. If you don’t have one, I highly recommend it because it’s gonna make your life much easier. It’s really important guys, to have your phone set up properly in this clamp and what you must do always have the lens on the same side as this black knot as an indicator of the middle of the tripod. Okay? If you are not gonna have the camera right in the middle and you’re gonna have it like this, no. Like this, no. You must have it your camera directly above this knob, or you must flush more or less the side of your phone with this clamp. And then you can tighten it up. If you have it like this, your panoramas will be perfectly stitched. If you don’t, there will be mistakes. So please make sure there is a straight line. If you stand in front of the camera, you can see that the lens, the middle of the lens, the middle of the lens is directly above this knob. That’s step one. Step two. Once we have the phone properly set up, We need to tilt it slightly upwards so that the lens is looking more upwards towards the ceiling. So to do that, it’s probably best to twist it sideways. Then loosen up this little bit here. So it moves, okay? And we just gonna tilt it upwards a bit. How much? The virtual tours creator app is gonna show us just like so. We are now inside of the VTC app where we are just about to shoot the photo. But before we do that, we can loosen up this little knob that will allow us to move the swivel. And you’re gonna see the circle halves of the circles that are red, orange or green. And what we need to do is make sure we align the two halves with the gray shadows behind. And if we do that we can tighten it up, probably leave it forever. And then your virtual tours will be perfect. This is the alignment. And as you can see from the side, the lens is facing slightly upwards just about three degrees, but you don’t have to think too much because those two halves of the circle will show you how to get it right.
